π What Is This Use Case About?¶
This use case focuses on helping Contoso Bank's Fraud Investigation Team identify and prioritize customers who are most likely to be victims of actual fraud. The goal is to prevent financial losses and avoid unnecessary disruptions for customers who are falsely flagged.
The bank has already flagged 30 customers through its automated systems, but needs human analysts to: - Narrow it down to the top 5 highest-priority fraud cases. - Justify why each customer was chosen. - Predict how many of these are actual fraud (from 0 to 4).

- Rank the top 5 customers most likely to be involved in fraud.

Each recommendation must: - Use logic based on hard data - Consider multiple datasets - Minimize false positives to avoid disturbing legitimate customers - Be auditable and traceable
